>Preview and prediction for tonight’s Mount Si-Liberty football game

>The final week of the regular season is here, everyone, and the matchup everyone has circled since the start of the season is here. Mount Si travels to Liberty for a shot at a home game next week.

You all know by now what Mount Si has in its arsenal, and it’s pretty good. Sean Snead had another big effort of over 200 yards last week, so once again Snead will be counted on to lead the way. His QB, Tyson Riley, also can get it done, he did just that last week as well, as Mount Si blasted Juanita on homecoming.

One issue that Mount Si will need to address if they want to be successful: penalties. They know that if they keep the penalties down in a big game, they have a chance, see Mount Si @ Bellevue back at the end of September.

As for Liberty, it is their Senior Night, and three of the Class of 2009 look to lead the way: QB Taylor Hamann, RB John Kirksey and WR Richard Crespo. Mount Si’s defense will be pretty busy with these three all night, but this defense has gotten it done all year, so look for that once again tonight.

Liberty played tough with Bellevue last week, falling 24-7.

The TV cameras will be on hand, as it’s likely both KCPQ and KING will be on hand, so the pressure of bright lights is real. But both of these teams know the stakes, and will keep focus. The team who commits the fewest penalties probably should be favored, and it is with that, albeit in the narrowest of picks, I’m going to have to favor Liberty here.

LIBERTY 21, MOUNT SI 20
