Baseball diamond cuts….

Good Sunday morning. We have a lot to get to this morning. We are leading things off this morning with a little baseball. Cedarcrest High School’s baseball team headed yesterday up to Lynnwood and it started out well enough, but a four-run second enabled the opposing Meadowdale Mavericks to take command and hand Cedarcrest a 6-1 loss.

Pitcher Tristan Dodds dominated in this one for Meadowdale, allowing a run on just seven hits walking one and striking out eight in six innings. Isaiah Kepoo-Sabate led the Mavericks, going 2-3 with a double scoring two runs and driving in another. Quinn Larson, Luke Thompson and Jackson Rees all had two hits each for CHS and pitcher Colt Norris also went the distance, allowing six runs, five earned, on four hits walking two and striking out three.
