Lacrosse: Mount Si girls fall in overtime heartbreaker, see season end
Mount Si Lacrosse Club’s high school girls’ squad saw their season end in a blink of an eye last night, as they fell in overtime 14-13 to Bellevue at home in Snoqualmie in the first round of the Washington Schoolgirls’ Lacrosse Association playoffs.

Alex Kremer scored six goals pacing MSLC, with goals also scored by Julia Stanley, Alexa Coughran and Kate Swenson. Impacting things, though, was that Stanley played part of the game with a broken foot suffered during the contest and had challenges completing shots, with several great scoring chances that did not get converted into tallies.

Mount Si ends its season at 12-7.

MSLC boys end regular season in whimper: MSLC’s boys ended the regular season on a down note this past Friday falling 16-2 to Mercer Island also at home in Snoqualmie. Levi Henretig and Kendall Saldivar had the goals for Mount Si, who plays Lake Stevens to open their state playoffs Friday in Lake Stevens.
