The Kingco onslaught was led by Issaquah High School’s Abby Cleveland, who showed a glimpse of her late-season flurry for the Eagles in this one for the Bandits. Cleveland homered twice and drove in four runs, but she was not the only Kingco player to do damage in this one. Redmond High School’s Kati Cygan also homered headlining a two-hit effort driving in two runs. Elsewhere: Due to issues with these teams’ GC feeds, stats were not available for either the Kirkland-based Northwest Grapettes 18U McGee team or the Portland-based Northwest Bullets Campos’ 18U’s. McGee’s team won 3-2 over California-based SoCal Sting while the Campos squad fell both times yesterday in their games with California teams. The squads feature Mount Si’s Addie Craig, Tori Travers (NWG) and Anna Braukus (NWB). Additionally, the Bullets, unlike in past years, did not stream either of their games yesterday so unlike what we had told you in our preview on Friday, we do not anticipate any streaming of their games today. Search NW Bullets Campos though on YouTube as that may be subject to change.
