>Two games yesterday, both soccer. First, men and Western Washington played a wild one with Regis (CO) yesterday in Denver. Fall City’s Gibson Bardsley (WWU) found the back of the net once more, but Regis won the game 5-4. Bardsley’s goal came in the 53rd minute off a pass from teammate (and former high school rival) Michael Ricci. Ricci was a star at Newport HS in Bellevue.

Bardsley played about half the game, he was subbed out in both the first and second halves, and had a total of six shots and a yellow card.

In Hawaii, BYU-Hawaii’s Kirsten Mills (North Bend) DNP as BYUH fell 1-0 to Mesa State in women’s soccer action. Mills hasn’t played in a game since scoring a late goal in the game against Academy of Art on September 13.

One game tonight, and it is indoors, with Northwest U’s volleyball team going down to Olympia for a conference clash with Evergreen State. 7:00 pm first serve as NWU’s Alisha Larion (North Bend) looks to continue a solid freshman season, she has put together some good numbers throughout her first games as a collegian.
